Setup
torproject.org only. We have a full setup guide. Avoid anything called "Tor Pro" or "Tor VPN" on app stores.
Enable built-in obfs4 bridges (Settings → Tor → Bridges). Snowflake works in stricter regions. Never use custom bridges from strangers.
Safer. It disables the risky stuff without breaking market functionality. Don't install any add-ons.

Problems & phishing
Phishes ask for a "wallet verification deposit" before login, demand your mnemonic phrase, have broken styling, or show a different onion in the address bar. The real site does none of these.
9 times out of 10 you're on a phishing clone. Recopy the link from this page and verify the onion address character by character.
Every extra onion is a phishing target. Sites advertising 10+ "official mirrors" are scam pages.
Wait. Crypto can take hours during congestion. If it's been over 6 hours double-check the destination address (crypto transactions are irreversible) and open a ticket.
Almost never. Honest vendors let you finalize after delivery. Vendors pushing FE on first orders are almost always scammers.
Open a dispute within the market window. With multisig, mods look at tracking, PGP messages, vendor history — buyers usually win when evidence is on their side.
